🏅 The Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, presents the Mayor of Calp with the National Tourist Interest Festival designation for Moors and Christians.

🎖️ The Mayor of Calp, Ana Sala, collected today at the Teatro Real in Madrid the certificate accrediting the Calp Moors and Christians Festival as a Festival of National Tourist Interest. The award was presented by the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu, and the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rosario Sánchez Grau.
The Mayor was accompanied by Tourism Councilor Mireia Ripoll, municipal technical staff, and the President of the Calp Moors and Christians Association, Rocío Pastor.
📜 The Ministry of Industry and Tourism declared the Calp Moors and Christians Festival a Festival of National Tourist Interest last September, in recognition of its uniqueness and its historical, cultural, and festive value.
