🌊 The Calp Town Council has held a working meeting in Madrid with the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) to address the future of the municipality’s coastline and coordinate strategic actions on our beaches.

Among the main issues discussed, the following stand out:
🏖 Regeneration of the Arenal-Bol beach, whose last comprehensive intervention was carried out 30 years ago.
The Town Council has conveyed the need to promote long-lasting and sustainable solutions, based on technical studies regarding marine currents and with full respect for the posidonia meadows.🌴 Improvement project for the La Fossa seafront promenade, currently in the design phase, following criteria of universal accessibility, landscape integration, and protection of the public maritime-terrestrial domain.
🏛 Legal status of the La Manzanera Social Club, analyzing its fit within current regulations based on the defense of the general interest and the safety of users.
With this meeting, the government team reaffirms its commitment to responsible coastal planning, working in coordination with other administrations to guarantee sustainable actions with legal certainty.
