    On Saturday, February 14th, we will enjoy a festive day designed for all ages at Calpe’s Plaza Mayor:
    👧🧒 Children's Carnival at 5:30 PM An afternoon for the whole family to enjoy with dancing, a costume contest, balloon twisting… and many more surprises!
    🎧🎶 Calpe Carnival from 11:00 PM The party continues with a massive "discomóvil" (mobile disco).
    Come in your best costume and get ready for a full day of music, dancing, and carnival spirit! 🎊

  • Change of Schedule – Children’s Theatre

    🎭👧🧒 To avoid overlapping with the children’s Carnival party, the children’s theatre performance “BoBo,” scheduled for tomorrow at the Auditorium, will take place at 7:00 p.m.

  • 📢 Specialization Course in Criminal and Procedural Law: Gender-Based Violence and the VioGén 2 System.

    The Departments of Equality and Citizen Security of the Calp Town Council are organizing this specialized training course, taught by Civil Guard Sergeant Major Juan Antonio Jover Pinar, featuring a keynote session by Supreme Court Justice Vicente Magro Servet.

  • Exhibition Arte-Son Group.

    🖌️🎨🫟From March 3 to 30, the Casa de Cultura in #Calp will host the contemporary art exhibition "Imaginal Moviment 5" by the Arte-Son Group.
    The Arte-Son Group is made up of artists from different disciplines: painting, sculpture, photography, and installations. A total of 19 visual artists are participating in this exhibition.

    Calp commemorates the 40th anniversary of Spain’s accession to the European Union with the lecture:
    “The European Union from Its Beginnings. United in Diversity”

  • La Nit Encesa

    🕯️🕯️ Calp celebrates the second edition of “La Nit Encesa” on Saturday, March 7. The historic centre will be transformed into a space filled with magic with the symbolic switching off of public street lighting and illumination by thousands of candles.
    🎨 As a new feature, “The Art Street” is launched, where artists will showcase their creative processes live.

    Programme:
    ✨ 6:00 p.m. – Street theatre “KAIMING – Bearer of the Light” (Plaza del Mosquito)
    ✨ After the show (approx. 7:00 p.m.) – Storytelling “The Tale of the Light” (Old Town Hall)
    ✨ 8:30 p.m. – Concert by Exótika Cuarteto (Plaza de la Vila)

    The Town Council encourages residents, shopkeepers and hospitality businesses to light up balconies, windows and premises with candles, and invites artists to share their talent.
