Green Flags
♻️ Calp has done it! It has won the Green Flag from Ecovidrio together with Peñíscola, as the most sustainable coastal municipalities in the Valencian Community. Both have earned the coveted Green Flag in the 6th edition of the #GreenFlagsMovement, in recognition of their responsibility and commitment to the circular economy and glass recycling. During this summer, Calp managed to collect almost 460 tons of glass.
✅ In this edition of the #GreenFlagsMovement, a total of 35 municipalities and more than 3,400 hospitality businesses from the Valencian Community took part. Calp and Peñíscola, who have been awarded the Green Flag, now join Benidorm, Finestrat, Orihuela, Valencia, l’Alfàs del Pi, and Alicante, which had already been recognized in previous editions.
🌎 And this achievement has been thanks to all of you — citizens and hospitality establishments — for continuing to support glass recycling and for taking care of our planet! 👏👏👏
