    ⚔️ Calp is getting ready to celebrate its Moors and Christians Festival in honour of the Santíssim Crist de la Suor, declared this year as a Festival of National Tourist Interest, taking place from October 21st to 26th.
    A complete programme of festive, religious, and musical events will fill the town's streets.

  • 🎮🔥 CALPE GAME PARTY is here! 🕹️👾

    Next Thursday, 8 October, the Domingo Crespo Sports Pavilion will be transformed into a huge space dedicated to video games and digital entertainment with Calpe Game Party.
    🎮 An afternoon to play, compete and have fun together, featuring:
    🥽 Virtual reality 🏎️ Driving simulators 🕹️ Arcade zone
    🏆 Video game tournaments and competitions 🎮 Free-to-play consoles
    📱 Competitions featuring games such as Fortnite, Brawl Stars, Rocket League, FC26, Clash Royale and Roblox, among others.

  • Concert

    🎶The Mandolinenorchester de Weiterode returns to Calp to celebrate 25 years of partnership with the Rondalla. The German ensemble will perform a joint concert with the Rondalla de Calp on Saturday, 10 October, at the Virgen de las Nieves Parish Church.
    🎶The visit is part of WANDERLUST, the twinning project between Calp and Bebra that Calp Town Council has secured European funding for through the European Union’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme. Through this initiative, a relationship that began between two plucked-string ensembles is evolving into a town-twinning partnership with a European dimension between the two municipalities.

  • 🎶❤️ Francisco and Tamara present “Únicos dos” in Calp

    Next Saturday, 10 October, the Auditorium of the Casa de Cultura in Calp will host a charity concert in aid of ADICALP, featuring performances by singers Francisco and Tamara, two of the most renowned voices in Spanish melodic music. 🎤✨

  • ⚔️🎉 The Xiquet Fester Day is coming to Calp!

    To mark the 50th anniversary of the Moors and Christians festivities in Calp, this Sunday, 11 October, the Parc de la Creativitat will host an afternoon full of festivities, music and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
    🎨 From 4:00 p.m., there will be Moors and Christians-themed workshops, face painting and inflatables for the little ones.
    🎶 Music will also take centre stage throughout the event:
    👉 4:30 p.m. – La Xarlotà
    👉 6:30 p.m. – DJ Trapella
    👉 10:30 p.m. – Reina Mora
    👉 12:15 a.m. – Josep Pastor DJ, organised by the Moors and Christians Association.

    ✍️ Calp Town Council continues signing agreements corresponding to nominal grants for various local associations and entities, supporting the work they carry out in the social, economic, and international cooperation fields.
    📋 On this occasion, the beneficiary organizations are:
    🔹 Associació de Malalts de Fibromiàlgia i Fatiga Crònica de Calp (Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Patients Association of Calp) — €1,000
    🔹 Associació d'Empresa i Comerç de Calp (Business and Trade Association of Calp) — €20,000
    🔹 Visió Sense Fronteres, Associació de Cooperació Internacional (Vision Without Borders, International Cooperation Association) — €15,000

  • 🤝 Calp Town Council signs nominal grant agreements with local parent-teacher associations (AMPAs).

    ✍️ Calp Town Council continues signing agreements corresponding to nominal grants, on this occasion awarded to the parent-teacher associations (AMPAs) of the municipality's educational centres, supporting the work they carry out in aid of the educational community.
    📋 The beneficiary entities are:
    🔹 AMPA del CEIP Mediterrani de Calp (Mediterrani Primary School PTA) — €2,000
    🔹 AMPA del CEIP Gabriel Miró de Calp (Gabriel Miró Primary School PTA) — €2,000

  • Presentation of the 2026 Moors and Christians Festival Book

    📣📣 Presentation of the 2026 Moors and Christians Festival Book, followed by a Concert of Traditional Festival Music performed by the Unió Musical Calp-Ifach at the Casa de Cultura Auditorium.
    After the concert, the 2nd Night of Squad Leaders (II Nit de Caps d'Esquadra) will take place on Avenida Masnou, accompanied by the Unió Musical Calp-Ifach.

  • 🚨⛈️ IMPORTANT NOTICE | MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS

    📢 The Valencian Government (Generalitat Valenciana) has today, 19 October, published an order maintaining, extending and strengthening confinement and mobility restriction measures in municipalities along the northern coast of Alicante and the southern coast of Valencia, due to the episode of heavy rainfall caused by Storm DANA ADAM.

    ⚠️ RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PUBLIC:

    🔹 Stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel.
    🔹 Do not drive through or cross flood-prone areas.
    🔹 Keep away from rivers, ravines and waterways.
    🔹 Do not enter basements or garages, and do not use lifts.
    🔹 Move to upper floors when necessary.
    🔹 Pay special attention to vulnerable people.

    🚑 These restrictions do not apply to essential services provided for under civil protection regulations.

    📅 The measures come into force upon publication in the Official Gazette of the Valencian Government (DOGV) and may be modified depending on how the emergency develops.
