📊 Gender-based violence in Calp: sociodemographic profile
The analysis of the 89 files recorded in Calp allows for the creation of a profile of victims and perpetrators, providing deeper insight into the local reality of gender-based violence.
🔹 The 25 to 34 age group shows the highest incidence: 37% of victims and 28% of perpetrators.
🔹 Spanish nationality is the most frequent in both profiles, followed by Colombian.
🔹 The presence of 8 victims aged 65 or older (9%) is noteworthy, showing that this issue also significantly affects elderly people.

🚧 The old Benissa road becomes one-way
👉 The Town Council has approved converting the old Benissa road into a one-way street to improve road safety and ease traffic flow.
🚗 This road, which connects the Ràfol area with Empedrola II, has width and visibility limitations that made it difficult for vehicles to pass each other in both directions.
📈 In addition, increased traffic in recent years and recorded incidents have made it necessary to regulate circulation.
➡️ The new direction will be Benissa – Calp, with access from Empedrola II.
🪧 In the coming days, new signage will be installed and residents will be informed of the changes. -
