🏀 +45 World Champions! 🌍

A basketball team including three officers from the Calp Local Police has been crowned world champion in the +45 age category at the 17th FIMBA Tournament, held in Tizino (Switzerland). The team also includes players from Ukraine who reside in Altea.
This international tournament featured over 400 teams and 6,500 players from around the world across all categories.
👏 This morning, the champions visited the Calp Town Hall to present the mayor with a replica of the medal they won, as a token of appreciation for the support received.
🔵 The Town Hall provided the team uniforms with which they proudly represented Calp.
