    🇧🇪🎉🥁 This Belgian percussion show will bring together over 70 drummers in the Main Square to celebrate Belgium’s National Day.
    🌟 The event will feature renowned drummers such as Neil Cooper from the acclaimed rock band Therapy? and Alexei Leao, leader of the Drum Orchestra of Florianópolis, Brazil.
    🚴 As a grand finale, Rino "El Toro" Vandevoorde is expected to arrive before midnight after cycling from Kortrijk to Calp in just three days for a good cause—young-onset dementia.

  • The Calp Town Hall and the Institut d’Estudis Comarcals de la Marina Alta sign a collaboration agreement to promote local history and culture

    With this agreement, Calp Town Hall expresses its support for the work carried out by the IECMA over the past decades and opens a new phase of institutional collaboration. This partnership will make it possible to promote joint projects, encourage local history, and enhance the dissemination of the municipality’s cultural and heritage values.

  • Civil Protection

    👉 Calp Civil Protection continues inspecting the hydrants in Oltà and checking the proper filling of the fire-fighting water reservoir, while also maintaining surveillance of the municipality's forested areas.

  • 🏠 Applications are open until 15 September for grants to refurbish building façades.

    This year, two lines of aid are once again available:

    👉 Line 1. Comprehensive work on façades: cleaning and repairing cracks, beams, railings, anchors, balcony ceilings, etc.
    👉 Line 2. Buildings located in the Old Town: specific actions to improve the appearance of façades (antennas, air conditioning units, awnings, cabling...) including painting.

  • Applications for grants to rehabilitate building facades are open until September 15. This year, there are two lines of aid available again:

    👉 Line 1. Comprehensive facade work: This includes sanitation and repair of cracks, floor slabs, railings, anchors, balcony ceilings, etc.

    👉 Line 2. Buildings in the historic center: This covers specific actions to improve the aesthetics of the facade (antennas, air conditioning units, awnings, wiring, etc.), including painting.
