▶️ The Calp Town Council informs that, due to circumstances beyond our control, it has not been possible to complete the installation of the electrical panel that powers all the machinery of the municipal swimming pool (water circulation pumps, dehumidifier, and boiler) in time.

▶️ As a result of this issue, the water is not in optimal condition for swimming. The installation of the electrical panel is scheduled for next Monday morning. Once completed, a minimum period of two days will be required to heat and filter the pool water to ensure the facility can reopen under safe and proper conditions.

▶️ We also inform you that all membership passes will remain paused during the closure period, so they will not be affected by these days of interruption.

▶️ Furthermore, the public service hours for course registrations will continue as usual, from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00, at the offices of the Domingo Crespo Sports Hall, during the days the municipal pool remains closed.

👉 We will announce the exact reopening date next week. We apologise for any inconvenience this situation may cause and thank you in advance for your understanding. 🙏

🐶🐶 These three dogs were abandoned a few months ago and since then they have been waiting at the Animal Protection and Rescue Service (S.P.R.A.) facilities for someone to give them a second chance.

♻️ Recycling gives a new life to our waste! In Calp, we are committed to making recycling easy and responsible. Do you know what each colour means? 👇

🟡 Yellow: Packaging and wrappers. Plastic bottles, cans and cartons can all have a second life. Give them another chance!
🔵 Blue: Paper and cardboard. Every tonne of recycled paper prevents the felling of around 17 trees. 🌳
🟢 Green: Glass. Recycled glass is transformed into new containers and helps reduce air pollution. 🌍
🟤 Brown: Organic waste. For food and plant scraps. Essential for composting, which turns waste into natural fertiliser. 🌱
