🦐 Calp brings its local produce and gastronomy to Alicante Gastronómica 2026

🍴 Calp Town Hall is taking part in Alicante Gastronómica 2026 from today until Monday, October 5th, with a broad programme to promote local products and highlight the richness of Calp’s cuisine.
The municipality features its own stand—larger than in the previous edition—offering daily tastings and promotional activities.
🦐 The White Shrimp of Calp (Gamba Blanca de Calp) will be one of the main highlights: the Fishermen’s Guild (Cofradía de Pescadores) will serve various preparations throughout the fair—boiled, in fideuà, and fried in paper cones—paired with white wine from Bodegas Casanova.
The programme also features tastings of local cured meats, traditional cocas, local wines, and mistela, as well as two showcooking sessions in the “Saborea Costa Blanca” space presented by Casa Cantares and Bambero restaurants.
🚌 As a new feature, the Town Hall is organising two free bus trips from Calp to Alicante Gastronómica on Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th, offering a total of 110 places.
Buses will depart both days at 9:30 AM from Calp bus station, returning from IFA at 6:00 PM.
Registration will be available via a form shared through the Portal del Comerciante website.
